Typography

Property.ca typography is designed to be impactful and practical with a legible, easily identifiable aesthetic.

The available font styles make it easy to evoke different moods and fit with a variety of scenarios. Derived from a modern sans serif typeface, they reflect our image as a modern, digitally-savvy brokerage and target our audience of young, digitally-focused professionals.

When applied in headlines, the font is always bold.

Digital Typefaces

Montserrat is our primary digital font. It’s ideal for digital deliverables because it renders quickly, is easy to read on a screen, has several formats, and clearly conveys our brand. Montserrat is used in all web design projects, presentations, videos, and emails.

Fira Sans Condensed is always used with Montserrat, as using them together has no negative effects on font quality or any other elements.

Century Gothic is a sleek, geometric font that clearly represents our fast-paced, modern company. It is best used with business communications material such as presentations, letterheads and financial reports.

Arial is a universal font that can be used in different formats and for a variety of purposes to create consistency across brand communications (print, digital, email, presentations). It should only be used if it isn’t possible to apply our other font styles.

Font Weights for Text Setting

The primary font for digital is Montserrat. For headers in web applications, use Fira Sans Condensed. Sofia Pro is exclusively for use in print applications.

Approved Property.ca Inc. typefaces can vary in weight and width. In a digital context, they save space with flexible font width, making them easy to adapt. Legibility and contrast can easily be enhanced by altering type weight, offering creative freedom in animations.
